About EHFDSC

CLUB DESCRIPTION

Exercise & Health Fitness Dynamic Sports Club (EHFDSC) is an Illinois-based 501(3(c) non-profit entity established exclusively for charitable, social and athletic purposes. In furtherance of its non-profit status, EHDSC fosters community bonding through the promotion of athletics, and sports activities for individuals residing in the Southern Suburban Chicago/Chicago Land geographic areas.  It fosters physical fitness and physiological wellbeing of her members.  It also promotes friendship, networking among its members, sister organizations and the general public through annual tennis tournaments and gala nite event. Exercise and Health Fitness Dynamic Sports Club

(EHFDSC), although formally renamed in 2018, has been in operation for 18 years as Dynamic Sports Club.

PROBLEM/OPPORTUNITY

About 18 years ago, EHFDSC researched and found out that most people in the South Suburban Chicago areas, especial African professionals, do not make out time to indulge in physical exercises. As a result, a handful died of certain preventable heart diseases. To forestall further untimely deaths and preventable health problems, EHFDSC was formed to present a platform for people to exercise; play tennis, jog, bike, walk, etc. Since inception, it has incorporated after school programs for children, and currently has many kids under tennis training. EHFDSC has a state certified tennis coach running her programs. Similarly, because most professionals in the geographic region seem not to take basic physical check-ups seriously, EHFDSC provides health educations and works with Immanuel Family Health Center in East Chicago, Indiana, to give free health screening to the underprivileged.  Because of EHFDSC, a lot of kids and teenagers currently have after school programs and activities to engage their time and minds.  There are no non-profit organizations in the South Suburban Chicago area that engages in inter-country tennis events to enhance friendship and networking like EHFDSC.

OUR SOLUTION

EHFDSC offers free tennis lessons to adults and youth as well.  It conducts a comprehensive tennis program which categorizes participants into their respective age groups and ratings.  EHFDSC is currently in partnership with Immanuel Family Health Center, East Chicago, Indiana to conduct free medical check-ups and good health awareness.  It currently partners with the Lagos Sports Club, FHA, Nigeria to conduct joint tennis tournaments annually.
